About the Author
Chinta Senanayake is an Information Technology professional known to her family and friends as Chintz. She was a former student of Ladies College and now resides in Monte Carlo with her son. Her love for children inspired her to manage many children’s projects for the destitute children of Sri Lanka during the civil war in the island. Her passion for reading and Walt Disney made her interested in writing for children. She qualified for ‘Writing for Children and Teenagers’ in the Institute of Children’s Literature – University of Connecticut, USA. Based on the current COVID-19 situation which started in 2020, she wrote the 4th volume of her son’s book series for children named ‘Bo’s adventures’ to share her take on the global pandemic with a creative, informational and captivating perspective. Her son Shanka Jayasinha’s pursual in writing for children began after his adoption of a Gorilla in Rwanda named ‘Kundurwanda’ in order to help sustain the gorillas of Rwanda.
Today, Bo and his friends are much loved characters who are inadvertently dedicated to helping the children in need of Sri Lanka.
