About the Author
Thich Nhat Hanh is a Zen Buddhist monk from Vietnam. He is also an author, teacher, peace activist and poet. The author has over a hundred published books, of which forty are in English. He was a nominee for the Nobel peace prize in the year 1967 and in 1991 he won the Courage of Conscience award. His other works include Vietnam: Lotus in a Sea of Fire, Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life, The Heart of Buddha’s Teaching, Walking Meditation, The Energy of Prayer, Fear: Essential Wisdom for Getting Through the Storm, Old Path White Clouds: The Life Story of the Buddha and The Art of Power.
